What template to choose for your website
When you want to create a new website, at the beginning, the most important part always is to find a good looking template. However, a lot of people make wrong choices about those templates.
A lot of people think that templates with a lot of functions, scripts, and modern designs are good. Yes, it is good at some point and it is bad at some other point.
Simple templates always work great
Simple templates are not just templates that are simple in everything. Simple template can also be a template with a lot of functions but simple design, easy to navigate, and not loaded with tons of unnecessary scripts. This is the whole point — simple design and easy to navigate.
Simple design doesn’t mean it should be some template with ugly design. Simple design could be easy to navigate but beautiful by looks.
Easy to navigate always wins
You should want your website to be easy to navigate. A lot of people don’t like websites that are hard to navigate, even if their designs look great. If you’re creating some blog/website (not a company page), you really don’t need anything too difficult. Just look at our website, it has a simple (but not ugly) design which is easy to navigate. It is a simple template which handles very well with our hosting provider, and it also has a lot of functions.
Speaking about hosting providers, a simple template (if created correctly) handles well with most hosting providers. Heavy templates with a lot of scripts consume a lot of resources, and you could be having a lot of issues with your hosting provider. That means that you could forget about a regular cheap hosting plan if your template eats a lot of resources. You always could get a better hosting plan if your template eats a lot of resources, but it also could be expensive to you.
